Let's see what has happened since I last made an entry. Well nothing really up until a couple weeks ago.

First off I got a chance to go onto a cruise!! It was an awesome experience. It was a Christian cruise so I got a chance to enjoy the cruise without loud drunk people. Plus I got to listen to some great Christian bands preform. We sailed from Miami down to the Grand Turks. All the while I was in shorts and a t-shirt! That was so much fun especially in late January. When we came into port at the Grand Turks I got a chance to go scuba diving. Now I had never been scuba diving so that was a great experience. So overall I really want to go on another cruise! I just wish they were less expensive.........

So then to the more exciting news for me! I have a girlfriend now!!! Woo! Ha ha ha......She's great and goes to UIC. We started officially dating not to long ago, but have been unofficially dating for a couple months now. Only problem is she lives a few hours away, but I can deal with that. Maybe one day those who read this might get a chance to meet her. Well off to play some video games now!

You'd think with that much time between blogs that I'd have some cool, amazing, exciting news. Unfortunately I really do not.......Work is dull, though I am busy most of the time. Hopefully that'll continue since I got all caught up today. There's a few things that are on the horizon that I wanted to have happen by now, but alas fate has conspired against me. Oh well guess I'll give it more time. Though about the only change in my routine happened friday with that shooting downtown. That shut down the train station that I use to go home. Luckily I was able to snag a ride back to Crystal Lake. In a limo none the less So that was interesting, so to speak. I'll update this for the few that check this when new developments happen.

Ugh.......I hate changing my sleep pattern, but this time I'll make an exception. Mainly because I have a new job. I know........took me long enough . It's not in my field but it's got potential to become something that has to do with my field within the company. So this first job was a way in the door till a graphic position opens up. So I'm all happy and such about that. Though that means no more staying up till 3 am. and waking up at noon . Oh well. So that's about it right now. If you want to know more, just IM me. Now to start looking for a new place to live........in a few months.

Well it's been another great while since I've updated, so here's the stuff so far. As far as my job goes, still looking. Had a couple more interviews for a specific position with the company in Chicago. A week from last thur. I went down for the second interview, they told me they'd let me know early the next week. Well they called me on wed. and asked for professional references. Haven't heard from them since, I just hate waiting as I've been waiting for a while. I just wish they could make a decision. My sanity is slowly wearing away as I just end up doing the same thing day to day......... Luckily I got to go out with friends tonight so it was a well needed change of scenery. I got to show off my un coordinated dancing skills. Though I was thinking, maybe I should get guys to pay me money to dance near them so they'd look amazing..........I could make MILLIONS!!!! Well hopefully I'll be able to update next week saying I've got a job, but I'm not hopeful. It's late and now I'm going to bed.

Guess it's been a while since I've updated this thing. So let's see if I can remember what's happen since the last update.

1. Those interviews I believe are going good. I went this morning to meet with their hr person for an interview and I believe that went well. So keep fingers crossed on that one.

2. I've had a weird month. For one weekend I was social without having to think about it. It was weird. Which led to a few things that I was happy about.

3. One of those things is my love for photography. I knew I liked it, but not that I am actually pretty good at it. The retreat weekend I went on, I took like 550 pictures. I was really pleased with how many of them turned out. So now I need to figure out a way to afford one of those digital slr cameras...........

4. The other odd thing I did, I managed to ask a girl out............though she said yes first, she then said she's not looking for a boyfriend at the moment. Oh well, I asked. She's said she would do stuff as friends, so maybe I'll start there. Only if though the like 3 or 4 other girls I would like to go out with don't show any interest in me. Ha ha ha.......................................yea..........

5. If nothing pans out with the job interviews I'll most likely be going back to school either in Miami or San Francisco. So I'll keep those few who read this updated!

Well I am still unsure if I'm going back to school or not. I have like 6 different people that are interviewing me this coming Friday. So one of those could turn into a job. Plus it might open a few other opportunities as well. I moved back home over a week ago and today is the first day that I can just relax....to some degree, have to clean up the basement some to make it at least look nicer...I've been really busy between house sitting and the normal weekend activities I've just been swamped. Though last wed. was a nice get away from everything when I went to Chicago with a couple friends. That was a fun time for me. Well my food's about ready and I'm waiting for a phone call so I'll end this now.

Well I have moved back home because of the lack of a job so no money = no way to move out on my own. Took one car trip on my own and then I borrowed my former roommates parents full size van for all my furniture. Then thanks to my sister and the youth director at my church I moved everything in that last load. Youth director drove the van and we loaded the left overs in my sister's car and the van. Only problem now is with all this rain, my room started to flood a little so I can't set anything up yet. So my car is still full until I can set stuff up. Oh well, for now I use my mothers laptop.

Ugh, right now I have so many things going through my head. Mainly where is my life going and what type of job do I really want.......and where I am going at the present moment may not be where I want to be. So I am now considering going back to school. *Gasp* not the S word. Yea school, for a Master of Fine Arts degree in computer animation. Which means I move to miami. Yea, miami, which would be fun since I'd be near my dad! Though it's a big change and a tough decision. So if you readers, those who do or want to, please pray for me and my big decisions ahead of me. Thanks!

Still haven't found a job yet, but right now it isn't bothering me cause I just got back from a great weekend. I went to Agape Fest which is a two day Christian Festival. I went with my youth group and had a great time, even though it was cold, windy, and rained off and on. The best part of the trip was getting to see two really good bands, Thousand Foot Krutch and Kutless. For both of those bands I was almost in arms reach of the front near center stage. Which means I was in the mosh pit area and had little room to myself. Which in itself was an experience getting to meet new people and almost being enveloped by the crowd a couple times along with some of my youth. It's a good thing my personal space issues were non-existant. All were worth rocking out with those two bands.

Well I guess it's about time I should get a job. First looking in my field of course. Have a few places I'm planning on applying to. Let's hope all goes well..... You know, after this past week of just sitting around for the most part, I have been working on my portfolio too, I got to thinking. I work on people's computers, offer advise quite often.....maybe I should really just start a computer consulting business. Charlie's Computer Consulting........It could work. Figure........I don't know.........50 dollars or so an hour.........could actually make some decent money. Just start out with the people I know, get them to refer me to others and just go from there.....hmmmm..........things to ponder about. It'd be hard, though I'd have to, charge people, even friends, for doing work.

Well I'm now unemployed. It was official today. There's still a slight glimmer of hope for the company, but I'm not banking on it. There's a chance that our company will be bought out which means there's a chance they'll keep our office out here going and me and my boss will handle stuff pertaining to our brand. Or there's a possibility of me getting a job with the company looking to buying us out whether or not they actually buy our company. Though that means I will have to move out to California. Now that would be cool as the 3D world is pretty much out there. So we'll see. I'm taking a couple weeks off to work on my own 3D animations. Thanks to you who have kept me smiling through this.

Well our company is going down fast. Most likely as of this Fri. I will be out of a job. Those who have been talking to me saw it coming as well as I did. There's a slim to none chance that if we're bought out I could still keep my job, but I highly doubt that'll happen. One way or another, by Fri. they'll be a definate answer of what's going on. So until then I just sit at my computer playing chess to pass the time away......I've got nothing productive to do at the moment. So I am looking for another job to fill my cash needs in the meantime.

I love my mother. She bought me girl scout cookies. Yay for caramel delights and thin mints!!!! After the week I've been having it's nice to get some good things. So when I went home to get the cookies my mother cooked me dinner as well. Mmmmm home cooked meal. Plus I got to see my dog and my sisters cat. I love my dog soooo much. I miss her quite a bit.

Tonight was a good night in the midst of the chaos that I call work right now. I still don't know what's going on there. We actually have the first purchase order as of today, but we have no money in our accounts. So bills go unpaid and I might not be paid again......There's supposedly money coming..........*Sigh* I'll get through this somehow........where's my resume now....Hopefully this cold leaves me soon too.

I am so fricken irritated and annoyed right now it's not even funny. Ugh, how can one company be so horribly incompetent. My direct boss is fine, he knows what he's doing. It's everyone else above him. GHA!!! *Runs out of the office screaming, drives over to local gun shop.....crap there's a waiting period...*

Well finally we got our first purchase order here at work. *Huge sigh of relief* We won't have the money for a little while, but we know it's coming. So needless to say we are happier, though there now are three people who work out of this office. The new guy was put here by our parent company. He's responsible for going to companies to give them their own brand or become a supplier for them for the parent company. If he gets any sales they "count" towards our sales. So while he may be competing with us in a way we still get credit. He has a couple tasks that he's been given from us that he needed to do. He hasn't done them yet. One of which he won't. He keeps making up excuses to get out of doing it.....it is really aggravating cause I know he's lying. I asked him the other day and he said he couldn't call this place cause he didn't have the phone number. My boss gave him the phone number a while back. So not only does he not like working here, he's lying to us and making excuses that it's not his job. So I'm close to pulling the same thing with him....not there yet. But now that we have a purchase order my job has become a little more stable which is really nice. I'm still looking for something else, but not as hard.

This weekend has been kindof a wash for me. Nothing too exciting went on. Had to take my car into the shop on Sat. to find out now I have to take it to a GM shop to get something fixed that's been present in my car since coming out of the factory......No clue how much it's going to cost me if anything....but I have to wait till Mon. to call them as they closed at noon on Sat. and when did I get my car back..........yea.....noon...The rest of the day was spent at my place just relaxing. Today so far I have reformatted my computer...yea real exciting....Good news that it's working a whole lot better than before. Now just need to install things again. I also got a response from a job I applied to, they had chose a person already. Oh well such is life, I'm stuck where I'm at for now. That among a few other things have just not made for an entertaining weekend. Just have to trust that where I'm at is where God wants me to be, even though I don't like it.

Darn you Rich for doing some of these, now it got me curious. I just wish I scored higher on the sci-fi crew to get the Millennium Falcon. :( Oh well. The dark knight was interesting.
